After Horizons closed in 2017, its assets became the property of The Community Corps, a new legal entity. No provisions were made for providing records support to former students after 2017.

Legally, neither The Community Corps nor the board representing the remnants of ECAE/Horizons is able to vouch for any student’s attendance, performance, or completion of graduation requirements while Horizons existed as a school.

The remaining ECAE board is legally able to provide any interested parties with a signed letter attesting to the facts that

  • We have been contacted by a given person who claims to have attended Horizons School;
  • Horizons School existed as a school with enrolled students from 1978 to 2016;
  • Horizons School has ceased to exist and that we are the authorized remnants of its board;
  • That we cannot provide *any* records for *any* student.

It is our hope that such a letter may help students when other schools or employers are seeking pro forma documentation and we are happy to provide this letter upon request.
